This past week was about as busy as weeks get. This week's prompt:
relax
Will you come to my town and take a picture of a little green falling-over sign that says "UGB" (urban growth boundary -- in case that's a U.S. term)? It's attached to a guard rail on a curving road and behind it is a hillside. Twenty years ago a huge fire destroyed a ponderosa forest on that hillside & it's growing back with scrub brush and manzanita, but you can still see dirt and rocks and scarred tree remains.
ReplyDeleteIt's an interesting juxtaposition, I think, like your sign: inside the urban growth boundary is a forest-regrowing.
P.S. hi : )
I think I'll just gaze at the photo of the Mother's Day gift for a while. Lately all I hear is "You're the meanest." Yesterday I was offering (unsolicited) advice on a Ralph S. Mouse diorama project, and Fiona shot at me, "It's supposed to be MY idea, not my Mother's. You'd probably imagine fire and brimstone because you're the meanest Mommy in the world!" I think I'll shamble off to the Beer Tent now.
