I love both of those photos, too. I like how the top one really makes you look to figure out what's going on, and then you are rewarded by the eye peering out. (And the nostril. I don't know why it amuses me, but it does. I guess noses are funny.)
And I really love that sidewalk shot. It's really fantastic.
